A Message from the Chair

Welcome to our website. I hope you find all you need here.

We meet each month at the Methodist church centre which is a comfortable venue for our programme of talks. There’s space to mingle and chat, with tea and coffee available after the talk.

As well as the talks, we have a variety of activities and interest groups. We aim to offer a range of topics to engage members’ interests. We hope you’ll find one (or more) to suit you or stimulate your curiosity. Whatever you choose, you’ll find a friendly and supportive bunch of like-minded people.

Last year we celebrated 40 years since our inaugural meeting in 1984.  In those 40 years Bromsgrove u3a has grown and evolved.  Society has changed over those 40 years so we have adapted our activities and events.  The focus on social and personal development is as important as learning and intellectual stimulation.  We enjoy new ideas and experiences, academic and social.  Each month our members' newsletter has lots of information on what's happening.  You can also see what's planned on the ‘Events’ pages of this site and on our Facebook page.

Since 1984, Bromsgrove u3a has grown significantly to 270 members. Our members enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and learning something new. Our u3a is about enjoying our leisure time and keeping our minds active. We welcome new members so do come and join us.
