Proposed new group Juke Box Memories, that will focus on songs and records released from the 1950s, 60s and early 70s.
Bill will be running a 60 minute introduction sampler session on Friday November 20th at 1.00 pm in the small hall at St Godswald's Church Aston Fields.
Do please try to pop in and hear the range of music that you’re likely to hear in future sessions.
If enough members wish to continue attending the group, the group will begin in early Jan 2027 with monthly meetings.
We encourage discussion, requests, comments, questions and of course memories from the eras we’ll be covering (from the Blues to Bowie).
There will probably be genres and artistes from earlier eras that you may not be familiar with and I hope the sessions will bring something new for you to experience and possibly enjoy.
For January 2027 onwards, we will choose which day / time is most popular with you the members from the following options, probably 60/75 /90 minute sessions.
We have available offered to us every Monday 10.30am – 12.30pm or every Friday 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
