Port Sunlight is a model industrial village on the Wirral Peninsula and was founded in 1888 by William Hesketh Lever for his soap factory workers. There are 900 Grade 11 listed buildings, 130 acres of parkland, the Lady Lever Art Gallery and a museum. It is a premier example of 19th-century urban planning.

Date – Wednesday 15th July 2026

Cost per head – £30 which includes entrance to The Workers Cottage, The Museum & The Art Gallery

Pick up at School Drive Car Park, B60 1AZ, for prompt departure at 08:30am.

Please be aware that there will be a fair amount of walking, therefore it is essential that you wear comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for outdoors. There are opportunities to enjoy a coffee break and refreshments at various locations.

Important:

If you are driving to the pickup point, the School Drive car park is ‘Pay & Display’ and you will need to pay £6 for a 10 hour stay.

The coach will leave PROMPTLY at 0830hrs
