A bit of forward planning and a new opportunity for a Kew Gardens Christmas Illuminations overnight trip in November 2027.

As you already know, Val Prichard has done a fantastic job organising our U3A outings for the last six years, but is now handing over the role. Many thanks go to Val for her hard work and planning, ensuring that we have all enjoyed a wide range of great days out.

I have already had a very useful planning meeting with Mark and Jan at Elgar coaches. We are putting together the programme of day trips for 2027 and Mark has also offered us the opportunity to join an overnight trip to the Christmas Illuminations at Kew Gardens.

The Christmas at Kew 2027 trip would include a Sunday morning departure from Bromsgrove, an evening visit to the illuminated Kew Gardens, bed and breakfast at a London hotel, and some free time in the centre of London on Monday before returning to Bromsgrove. Probable date: Sun 21^st – Mon 22^nd November 2027.

There is NO commitment at this stage. We just want to gauge the level of interest there could be.
